The Electric Cooperatives of Alabama Endorses Coach for Governor
Political arm of Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives (AREA) makes endorsement after unanimous vote of board

AUBURN – The Electric Cooperatives of Alabama, which is the political arm of the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives (AREA), announced today its endorsement of U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville for governor of Alabama.
The endorsement was unanimously approved by the organization's board of directors, a group of leaders from Alabama's electric cooperatives focused on supporting rural communities and the state's energy industry.
"I'm grateful for the support of the Electric Cooperatives of Alabama," said Coach Tuberville. "Our rural communities are the heart and soul of Alabama. Soaring inflation and out-of-control energy regulations under Joe Biden made life more expensive and sent American jobs overseas. When I'm Governor, I'll work with President Trump to lower prices, get rid of ridiculous regulations, and unleash Alabama's energy potential."
