The Flawed 2020 Census and the Partisan Gerrymandering War

Guest Opinion by Richard Rutledge

Nationally, we are now in open partisan warfare between the GOP and Democrat parties to see who can out-gerrymander the other over a flawed and utterly corrupted 2020 census. This will destroy this Republic if it is not stopped.

You cannot draw fair district lines without accurate census data. As of now, we are in a national battle for control politically by our two utterly corrupt major parties — parties who have forgotten the citizens and who represent an oligarchy of a hidden elite and want nothing but ultimate power.

We, the citizens in this war, do not matter.

I worked as a US Census enumerator both in 2000 and in 2020. In 2020, HUGE bonus incentives were given for production in 2020, and an enumerator could make thousands in bonuses in a short period of time for production, all because of the issues during the pandemic.

The 2020 Census was both inaccurate and corrupted severely. This also utterly corrupted elections at every level and changed the balance of power nationally in both the US House and the Electorial college.

This can only be repaired by a full census recount and fair redistricting process.

If the partisan war continues, it will likely break the union and result in open civil war.
