Saturday evening, President Donald J. Trump endorsed Barry Moore in the Republican primary for Alabama Senator.

In a post on Truth Social, the President said:

“Congressman Barry Moore, an America First Patriot who has been with me from the very beginning (he was the first Elected Official in the Country to Endorse me!), is running for the United States Senate in Alabama, a place I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024, getting the highest vote in that great State’s history.
“A very successful Businessman, Civic Leader, and Highly Respected State Legislator prior to becoming a distinguished Congressman, Barry has dedicated his life to serving his Community. As your next Senator, Barry will continue to fight tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Champion American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Strengthen our Brave Military/Veterans, Safeguard our Elections, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.
“Barry Moore is a good friend, fighter, and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next United States Senator from Alabama — BARRY WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Moore, who currently serves as the Congressman from Alabama’s 1st District, responded to the President's endorsement by saying:

“I am truly honored and thankful to receive the endorsement of President Donald Trump. President Trump has always put America first, and I’m proud to have stood with him from the very beginning. With his support, I’m ready to get to work on day one. I'll continue fighting for Alabama values, secure borders, a strong economy, and putting the President's America First agenda into action. Thank you!”

Moore grew up on a family farm in Coffee County. After high school, he enlisted in the Alabama National Guard and Army Reserves and joined Auburn University’s ROTC Army Ranger Challenge Team while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science.

After college, Moore returned to Enterprise, where he and his wife, Heather Hopper Moore, built a business from the ground up. What started as a single truck became BMI, Inc., a waste removal and demolition company that today creates jobs across Alabama.

Moore entered politics in 2010, winning a seat in the Alabama House of Representatives. During his eight years in Montgomery, he focused on issues affecting veterans, military families, and small business owners, and gained a reputation as one of Alabama’s most conservative legislators.

In 2020, Moore was elected to the U.S. House, where he quickly positioned himself as one of Alabama’s most conservative lawmakers. He has served on key committees and is a member of the House Freedom Caucus. His office has earned recognition for its workplace environment and constituent service.

Moore’s Senate campaign reflects long-held conservative priorities. At the Alabama GOP headquarters in Birmingham, where he officially qualified for the Senate race yesterday, he underscored his loyalty to President Trump and pledged his support for conservative issues such as border security, economic growth, and lower taxes.

Moore and Heather have four children and remain active in their community through Hillcrest Baptist Church in Enterprise.
