Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Ron Abernathy Endorses Katherine Robertson for Alabama Attorney General

Birmingham, AL – Today, Katherine Robertson, Conservative Republican candidate for Alabama Attorney General, announced the endorsement of Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Ron Abernathy.
Robertson made the announcement on Tuscaloosa’s 95.3FM The Bear’s “Steve and DC Show.”
Sheriff Abernathy, a respected law enforcement leader who has served the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office since 1988 and as Sheriff since his first election in 2015, touted Robertson's extensive record of supporting law enforcement, fighting criminal enterprises across Alabama, and standing up for the rights of victims. His endorsement is the latest addition to Robertson's impressive backing from sheriffs and law enforcement professionals across the state.
"Katherine Robertson has been on the front lines of Alabama's toughest battles against federal overreach, violent crime, and policies that undermine law enforcement," said Sheriff Ron Abernathy.

Having served in the Attorney General’s office for the last ten years as Chief Counsel, Robertson’s record of leading efforts to combat illegal immigration, protecting women's sports, defending free speech, and taking down career criminals, is proving to clearly set her apart from the field in the race.
