Alabama FarmPAC Endorses Barry Moore for Senate in Runoff
Federation President Jimmy Parnell praised Moore’s long-standing relationship with Alabama farmers and his conservative record.
Congressman Barry Moore has earned the endorsement of Alabama FarmPAC, ahead of the June 16 Republican runoff election for the United States Senate, adding another major conservative and grassroots organization to his growing coalition.
FarmPAC is the political arm of the Alabama Farmers Federation, better known across the state as ALFA. The organization represents more than 350,000 members and is widely considered one of the most influential grassroots groups in Alabama politics, particularly in rural communities and agricultural regions.
Federation President Jimmy Parnell praised Moore’s long-standing relationship with Alabama farmers and his conservative record.
“Our grassroots structure is all about relationships, and Barry Moore gets that,” Parnell said. “Barry understands the challenges our farm and rural communities face and has continually proven that during his tenure on the House Ag Committee.”

Moore’s agricultural roots run deep. Raised on his family’s farm in Coffee County, Moore later attended Auburn University, where he earned a degree in agricultural science. Before serving in Congress, Moore represented southeast Alabama in the Alabama House of Representatives for eight years.
Since arriving in Washington, Moore has served on the House Agriculture Committee, where he has consistently aligned himself with policies focused on protecting family farms, reducing federal regulations, and expanding opportunities for Alabama producers.
Moore said the endorsement reflects shared Alabama values.
“Alabama producers deserve a government that comes alongside them, not one that rides on their back,” Moore said. “I’m grateful for the support of Alabama farmers, and I’ll continue fighting for our rural communities in the U.S. Senate.”
The endorsement comes as Moore continues to consolidate support among conservative grassroots organizations heading into the runoff election on June 16.
