Alabama Mayors Back Allen for Lt. Governor
More than 25 Mayors across Alabama endorse Wes Allen, citing local leadership and shared priorities ahead of the May 19 GOP primary
A coalition of Mayors from across Alabama has announced its support for Wes Allen in his campaign for Lieutenant Governor, adding local weight to the Republican primary race.
More than two dozen municipal leaders, representing communities large and small, signed on to endorse Allen, pointing to his focus on local priorities and his commitment to public service.
“I am honored to have the support of Mayors from across the State,” Allen said. “Mayors want what is best for their municipalities, for their State and for their country. They know that I will work hard each and every day as Lt. Governor to put Alabama first.”
The list of endorsing Mayors spans much of the State, including leaders from Geraldine, Millport, Brookwood, Satsuma, Bayou La Batre, and Luverne, among others. Cities such as Gardendale, Pell City, Troy, and Opelika are also represented, reflecting a broad base of municipal support.
