From the Alabama Republican Party
Birmingham, AL — The Alabama Republican Party is pleased to announce that Madeline Priestley has joined the staff as the Party’s Director of Member Services and Data. Priestley brings a strong background in brand management, event coordination, and data-driven project execution, making her a key addition to the Party’s team.
Priestley, a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science, most recently served as a Marketing Coordinator at ServisFirst Bank. There, she led multi-regional event planning, managed corporate communications, supported investor relations, and executed integrated marketing strategies—skills that will directly support ALGOP’s operational and strategic goals.
ALGOP Chairman John Wahl commented, “Madeline brings a rare combination of technical skill, communications expertise, and hands-on project leadership that makes her an exceptional fit for this role. Her experience in data management and member engagement will allow her to support multiple departments simultaneously and keep our operations running at the highest level. Leaders like Madeline help ensure we are building a cohesive, high-performing team ready to deliver results as we continue enhancing the infrastructure of the Alabama Republican Party.”
In her new role, Priestley will oversee member services, modernize Party data systems, support county organizations, and assist with communications, events, and strategic initiatives across departments.
"I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Alabama Republican Party. I've always hoped to work somewhere that values collaboration and strives to make a real difference in the lives of Alabama families. I’m looking forward to getting to know our members, supporting the team, and contributing in any way I can to help move our state forward," she said.
Priestley will succeed longtime ALGOP Data Administrator Rudy Scott, who is retiring at the end of the month after many years of dedicated service to the Party. Scott’s deep institutional knowledge has been integral to ALGOP’s growth and day to day operations.
