From the Alabama Republican Party
Birmingham, AL – Republican voters in portions of Lee and Chambers Counties went to the polls Tuesday to choose the Party’s nominee in the Alabama House District 38 Special Primary Election.
The seat became vacant following former State Representative Debbie Wood’s relocation outside the district due to her husband’s job relocating to Pensacola, Florida.
The Republican candidates for House District 38 and the unofficial results are as follows:
- Garrett Dixon: 874 votes, 33.28%
- Micah J. Messer: 526 votes, 20.03%
