Hey everyone,As many of you may have seen, this past Thursday I officially qualified to be on the Republican ballot for the May 19th primary in congressional district 6.
As the election draws near, next week we'll be launching our door-knocking effort across the district. This is one of the most important things we’ll do between now and the primary, because grassroots campaigns are won face-to-face with voters.
I’m writing to ask for concrete commitments from those who can help. We’re building a core group of volunteers who can commit to one door-knocking shift per week, typically about 1.5–2 hours, either on a weeknight or Saturday. This will go on up to the May 19 primary. If you can commit, you will be making a real difference in the campaign. We need at least 10 people.For those interested, please reply and let us know:
• which days work best for you
• whether you prefer weekdays or weekends
If a weekly commitment isn’t possible, that’s okay. We’ll also be organizing specific weekend door-knocking opportunities and clearly defined canvassing days where people can plug in as their schedules allow. Let us know if that’s a better fit, and we’ll keep you informed as those dates are scheduled.
We’ll make this easy and organized. The campaign will provide clear instructions on where to go, which houses to hit, and how to track your doors. No experience is necessary — we’ll walk you through everything and make sure you’re comfortable before you start.
