In a move to enhance constituent services, U.S. Representative Barry Moore has inaugurated three new district offices in Alabama's 1st Congressional District. The primary office, located on the east side of Foley City Hall, will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The second office is situated in Bay Minette, further extending support to residents across Baldwin County. Moore's third office is located in Mobile on Highway 90.

"I am pleased to announce that 3 of our new district offices are officially open," said Moore. "These offices will serve as accessible points for constituents to seek assistance with federal agencies, including Social Security, veterans' affairs, passport services, IRS issues, and more."

The establishment of these offices comes in response to recent redistricting changes. In 2024, a federal court mandated the redrawing of Alabama's congressional districts to better represent Black voters. This redistricting shifted Moore from the 2nd Congressional District to the 1st, leading to a primary contest between Moore and fellow incumbent Jerry Carl. Despite the 1st District encompassing 60% of Carl's previous constituency, Moore secured the Republican nomination in a closely contested race.

Reflecting on the redistricting and its impact, Moore stated, "The court-ordered changes presented unique challenges, but they also offered an opportunity to connect with new communities. Our commitment is to serve every resident of this district with dedication and integrity."

Barry Moore, a native of Enterprise, Alabama, has been serving in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2021. Prior to his congressional tenure, he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Throughout his career, Moore has been recognized for his conservative stance and advocacy for small businesses, veterans, and agricultural communities.

“I want to thank the people of Alabama’s First Congressional District, my dedicated staff, and God for guiding us in this important work. During the 118th Congress, we resolved over 5,700 cases and returned more than $13 million to constituents," said Moore.

The decision to open offices in Foley, Bay Minette, and Mobile underscores Moore's commitment to accessibility and constituent engagement. Mayor Ralph Hellmich of Foley expressed support, noting, "The office will allow residents needing information or assistance to meet with members of Moore’s staff."

As Moore continues his service in the 1st Congressional District, these new offices aim to provide vital resources and support to the community, ensuring that constituents have direct channels to address their concerns and access federal services.
