Conservative Party Alabama Issues Runoff Endorsements
Group backs Wahl, Mitchell, Ziegler, and McInnis while leaving the U.S. Senate runoff choice to Alabama voters
The Conservative Party of Alabama has released endorsements for the 2026 primary runoff elections to be held June 16, 2026.
U.S. Senate:
First off is Jarrod Hudson, an ex-Navy SEAL and one who has worked with us on gun rights issues, etc. He is a man of known integrity and one who has a record of service in law enforcement, the military, and also in the community.
The other is Barry Moore, who in both the Alabama House and U.S. House has shown himself to be a reliable voice on issues we care about deeply. He is also one of the most conservative members of the U.S. House in voting record currently and deserves a hard look in this race.
Both candidates here have strong character and integrity, plus align well with us on issues. Add to that, both have a proven record of service that demands strong consideration.
In this race, we will leave this choice to the voters, but one of these candidates should become our next Alabama Senator.
For Lt. Governor:
Here there is a very clear choice.
We know John Wahl well from his time as Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party to be a man of integrity and principle. A man who was fair and had the same core values as this group.
On the other hand, Wes Allen, as Alabama Secretary of State, has been very difficult to work with. In particular, when candidates all over Alabama reported serious issues before our last municipal elections to his office, as Secretary of State he refused to investigate them. He told a number of candidates we referred to his office that the Alabama Secretary of State's Office would not interfere in municipal elections. This allowed elections to be stolen all over this state. In particular, here in Birmingham and Jefferson County, we have just seen the Probate Court Judge who oversaw our elections be suspended and replaced for allegations of corruption. When candidates here tried to report issues to his office, he refused to hear them.
We ask that he be soundly rejected as a candidate for this seat as a result.
Conservative Party Alabama is proud to endorse John Wahl in this race to be our next Alabama Lieutenant Governor.

Public Service Commission:
It is essential that both of the incumbent PSC Commissioners be defeated. Both are owned by special interests and, in particular, by Alabama Power. This is unacceptable, and we MUST have an independent PSC that works for the citizens, not special interests.
For Place One, our choice, Matt Gentry, won his primary.
For Place Two, Jim Ziegler has been a longtime friend of this group.
Jim is a man of integrity and is NOT in the back pocket of the very special interests that the PSC was created to protect the people of Alabama from, unlike his opponent.
We proudly endorse Jim Ziegler and trust him to be our watchman for the people in Public Service Commission, Place 2 for this runoff.
For Alabama Attorney General:
We have a very clear choice here.
Katherine Robinson will continue the status quo of defense and not rocking the boat, while Mitchell certainly will be aggressive in protection of our values and also in pursuing corruption.
Jay Mitchell is a man who was a Justice on our Supreme Court. He could have stayed in that position and just done his job. He chose to give up that position because he was tired of watching more traditional values being attacked and open corruption not being addressed in Alabama. Jay conveyed that to me personally and has been quite open about his reasons for entering this race.
To do this took courage and integrity.
We, in the strongest manner, fully support and endorse Jay Mitchell in his efforts to become our next Alabama attorney general.
Commissioner of Agriculture and Industry
For Ag Commissioner, we believe that Christina McInnis has a résumé that puts her in another class from the other candidates.
In 2019, Christina founded AgriTech Corp and introduced SoilKit, an innovative soil-testing solution designed to simplify soil health analysis for homeowners and professionals. Under her leadership, AgriTech secured partnerships with eight lawn and garden distributors, a major land-grant university, and a big-box retailer within its first year. The company received minority woman-owned certification from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs in 2020.
Christina Woerner McInnis brings a wealth of experience, a legacy of farming excellence, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable agricultural practices. She was honored with the Alabama Rural-Owned Small Business of the Year Award in 2023 by the U.S. Small Business Administration. A cum laude graduate of Auburn University with a degree in business, Christina has held various roles in marketing, including positions at Time Warner and Auburn University. She also served as a Commissioner for the City of Orange Beach.
In recognition of her contributions to rural entrepreneurship, Christina was honored with the Alabama Rural-Owned Small Business of the Year Award in 2023 by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Conservative Party Alabama endorses Christina Woerner McInnis for Ag Commissioner.
