BIRMINGHAM, AL — State Representative Juandalynn Givan proudly announces that she has received the coveted endorsement of the Alabama Democratic Conference (ADC), the largest and most influential Black Democratic political organization in the state of Alabama.
“I am deeply grateful and honored to receive the endorsement of the Alabama Democratic Conference,” said Rep. Givan. “For decades, the ADC has stood as a powerful voice for justice, equity, and opportunity—advocating for policies and leaders who uplift communities across Alabama. To be recognized and supported by such a historic and impactful organization is both humbling and affirming.”
The Alabama Democratic Conference has long played a critical role in shaping the political landscape of Alabama by supporting candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to public service, civil rights, and the advancement of underserved communities. Its endorsement is widely regarded as one of the most significant in Democratic politics across the state.
“This endorsement carries tremendous weight,” Givan continued. “It reflects not only my legislative record, but my unwavering commitment to the people of House District 60 and the state of Alabama. It is a testament to the work I have done—and will continue to do—as a legislator who delivers real results.”

Rep. Givan also acknowledged the broader context surrounding this endorsement.
“In a time such as this—when there are coordinated attacks on my leadership by the Mayor of the City of Birmingham and others—I am even more grateful,” she said. “Despite every effort, every maneuver, and every attempt to take this endorsement away, they were not successful. The truth stands on its own. My record stands on its own.”
Givan emphasized that her work speaks volumes.
“I have produced. I have delivered. And I have been a strong, effective, and unapologetically dedicated legislator for the people of Alabama. I don’t just talk about leadership—I demonstrate it through action.”
Looking ahead to the May 19, 2026 election, Givan expressed confidence in the outcome.
“I will continue to fight for the people of House District 60. And I will win this race—not through backroom politics, not through distractions—but on the strength of the votes of the people. Because the people know the work. The people know the truth. And the people know who has consistently shown up for them.”
Juandalynn Givan is a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, serving District 60 in Jefferson County since 2010. A Birmingham native, attorney, and business owner, she earned degrees from Miles College and Miles Law School before working in city government and founding her firm, Givan & Associates.
