“He Will Not Let You Down”: Trump Makes Final Push for Barry Moore in Alabama
“Barry Moore’s running for the Senate. Get out and vote for him tomorrow. He will not let you down,” Trump said.
President Donald Trump made one thing crystal clear heading into Alabama’s Republican primary election: he wants Alabama conservatives to vote for Congressman Barry Moore for U.S. Senate.
In a video released Monday night by President Trump and shared by the Moore campaign, Trump delivered a direct appeal to Alabama voters, praising Moore’s conservative record and longtime loyalty to the America First movement.
“Congressman Barry Moore was the first person in the whole country to endorse me,” Trump said. “He was there early.”
Trump also praised Moore’s positions on border security, military strength, and protecting the Second Amendment before closing with a strong endorsement push to Republican voters.
“Barry Moore’s running for the Senate. Get out and vote for him tomorrow. He will not let you down,” Trump said.
Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump , for your support. Heather and I are grateful for everyone across Alabama standing with us in this campaign. It’s been an honor to fight for our conservative values, and I’d be honored to earn your vote for the U.S. Senate. 🇺🇸@POTUS pic.twitter.com/cKwRMkFH4e

The video lands at a critical moment in one of Alabama’s most closely watched Republican primaries. Moore has spent months emphasizing his conservative voting record, Freedom Caucus membership, and early support of Trump dating back to 2015.
The campaign immediately pushed the video across social media on Tuesday Morning as Republicans across Alabama prepared to head to the polls.
Polls are open today, Tuesday, May 19, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. statewide. If no candidate reaches the required threshold, a Republican runoff election would be held on June 16.
