ICYMI: AFRW “Praying for Peace” Series Kickoff Aug 26
Tuscaloosa event featured Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, numerous Republican candidates
The Alabama Federation of Republican Women began their midterm “Praying for Peace” initiative on Wednesday, August 27 in Tuscaloosa with Pastor Lorenzo Sewell and a number of Republican candidates for federal, State and local offices.
Candidates who spoke to the group included:
- Caroleene Dobson (Secretary of State)
- Cathi Bradford (State Board of Education
- Corey Hill (Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries)
- John Wahl (Lieutenant Governor)
- Ammie Akin (Congressional District 7)
- Susan DuBose (Alabama House District
- Andrew Sorrell (Auditor)
AFRW President Tiffany Noel introduced the evening’s featured speaker, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell. Pastor Sewell, a vocal proponent of President Trump, exhorted the crowd on the evils of the Islamic invasion of America and the need for Christian — especially Christian women — revival.
