ProgressPAC, the political arm of the Business Council of Alabama, has endorsed Scott Ortis in the race for Alabama State Senate District 15, adding a key business voice to the campaign.

Ortis enters the race with a background that spans education, healthcare, and private business. He began his career as a public school teacher before becoming a pharmacist. He later founded a home infusion and enteral care company, building it over two decades into a provider serving families across Alabama.

In announcing the endorsement, ProgressPAC Chairman Kevin Savoy pointed to Ortis’ range of experience and its connection to everyday concerns.

“Scott Ortis has spent his career serving others, first in the classroom, then in healthcare and as a successful business owner,” Savoy said. “He knows how decisions made in Montgomery impact real people and real businesses, and we’re proud to support his campaign as someone who will bring that practical, results-driven approach to the legislature.”

Ortis’ campaign has centered on his firsthand view of how State policy affects employers, workers, and patients. His message focuses on strengthening the economy, encouraging job growth, and supporting Alabama businesses at every level.

ProgressPAC endorsements are based on a candidate’s commitment to workforce development, economic stability, and long-term opportunity.
