Monday, Rightside Radio debuted its two new hosts, Allison Sinclair and Amie Beth Shaver. The pair joined Justin “JP” Plott, replacing previous host Phil Williams, who has been nominated for the U.S. Attorney’s position for the Northern District of Alabama.

Among the callers to the inaugural show to congratulate the new hosts were U.S. Senate candidate Jared Hudson and ALPolitics.com’s Managing Editor, Dr. Bill Chitwood.

Dr. Chitwood spoke briefly on the topic of free speech, the landmark SCOTUS decision in Brandenburg v Ohio, which set the precedent that speech cannot be punished by the government unless it is “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action.” Dr. Chitwood pointing out that “for speech to be truly free, we must protect the speech we hate.” He also expressed his concern about recent efforts by some in the Republican Party to label Tucker Carlson as “not MAGA,” saying that “if Tucker Carlson isn’t MAGA, I’m not MAGA, either. I guess I’ll have to take my book, Beyond MAGA, off the market.”

Dr. Chitwood is the author, under his pen name Doc Contrarian, of the Amazon #1 ranked Beyond MAGA: From Trump campaign slogan to political movement to restoring the Republic.

The podcast of Amie Beth and Allison’s first Rightside Radio broadcast may be seen on YouTube and below, with Dr. Chitwood’s call beginning at ~1:56:40.
