Wes Allen, Alabama Secretary of State and Lt. Governor candidate, is encouraging Republicans to get out and vote. He is asking that Alabamians follow his example by going to the polls and casting a ballot instead of following the lead of his opponent, John Wahl, who refused to vote for Donald Trump, Coach Tuberville or any of the Republicans on the primary ballot in 2020.

“To be able to cast a ballot in a free and fair election is a special right that we have in this nation,” Allen said. “As conservative Republicans, we must go to the polls and make our voices heard in order to protect our values and our economy.”

Allen pointed out that in the 2020 Republican Primary election, public records show that Wahl refused to cast a ballot for any Republican on the ballot, including Donald Trump or Coach Tuberville.

“We have to do more than talk about wanting to stand up for our conservative values. We have to do more than talk about electing Republicans,” Allen said. “You have to actually go to the polls and cast a ballot to make a difference. Mark your calendars for June 16 and go cast a ballot in the runoff.”

Allen is encouraging Alabama voters to take their children and grandchildren with them to the polls.

“Make this as much of a tradition in your family as going to church,” he said.

Allen is a Republican candidate for Lt. Governor during the June 16 Republican runoff election.
