CCA to Host Women’s Safety Conference in Montgomery
April 23 event will address online child exploitation, safety tools, new Alabama laws with presentations by lawmakers and survivors
The Christian Coalition of Alabama (CCA) will host its inaugural Women’s Education Conference on Thursday evening, April 23, bringing together State leaders, advocates, and families to address the growing threat of online exploitation targeting children.
The event, titled “Take It Down Alabama,” will be held at Frazer Church in Wesley Hall. Organizers say the goal is simple: give Alabama families clear information and practical tools to protect children in a digital world that is changing fast.
Doors open at 6:00 PM with dinner provided, followed by a program from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.

Speakers include:
- Kristi Bush — Keynote; National Education Consultant and Social Media Safety Expert
- Rep. Ben Harrison (R-Elkmont, HD-2) — Sponsor of the 2026 Anti-AI Pornography Protection Act
- Rep. Ernie Yarbrough (R-Trinity, HD-7) — On legislation protecting minors from harmful content
- State Sen. Will Barfoot (R-Pike Road, SD-25) — Attorney and state senator on the Senate response
- Drew Stahl — Sophomore at the University of Alabama, sexual assault survivor
- Dr. Randy Brinson — Host; President and Chairman, Christian Coalition of Alabama
