Gornoski, Eubank Address The Gathering in Mtn. Brook

Filmmaker, author and radio host David Gornoski and Alabama Legislative Watchdogs Chair Ann Eubank spoke to The Gathering on Thursday night, March 20.

Eubank began the program with the news that she has been traveling across Alabama recently speaking about how Alabama is implementing the UN’s Agenda 2030. She shared with the group how a number of bills have been passed in the Legislature in support of this agenda, and that our elected leaders often do not realize what they’re actually doing because they’ve been “caught up in the marketing.”

“Stakeholder Capitalism” is one of the buzzwords being used to conceal Agenda 2030 plans. “Innovation” and “Workforce” are also frequently associated with these projects, which have their roots in Obama’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA).

Eubank also discussed how many people don’t realize what the Legislature is passing, which is a major part of why the public isn’t more alarmed about these bills.

“When we try to explain this to normal people, it goes over their heads” Eubanks said. “If we don't stop this in our Legislature, and by that I mean, get rid of all of them (the bills), our lives as we know it will cease to exist.. Because, if our leaders are not standing against stakeholder capitalism, then they’re against free market capitalism.”

The audience had a number of questions for Eubank, which time did not permit her to answer. She will probably return to The Gathering for an update, and to field more questions.

David Gornoski closed the program with a mix of scriptural readings, interpretations and correlations with current national and international events. He pointed out that many of President Trump’s most popular ideas originally came from Ron Paul, including no taxes on tips and Social Security, no foreign aid, and no wars. He also discussed the Epstein Island scandal and how Jesus’ example shows us that we should not expect Kings or Princes to save us. Instead, we should be working to save ourselves and our communities.

Gornoski foresees a coming Golden Age based not on the political actions of our leaders, but by a growing awareness of Christ’s teachings and principles.

“What we talked about tonight,” Gornoski said. “What everybody needs to know is if you want to get engaged in politics, you’ve got to follow the Jesus way, which means you're not chasing after political idols.”
