Zeigler, Bradford, Hill address Etowah Co. Republicans
Monthly breakfast in Rainbow City drew several State & local candidates
The Etowah County Republicans gathered Saturday morning at the Western Sizzlin for their monthly breakfast meeting.
The featured speaker was Jim Zeigler, who is currently the Republican nominee for Public Service Commission, Pl. 2. Zeigler previously served as State Auditor, and has based his campaign on being Alabama’s “Watchman” in Montgomery.
Zeigler has taken a strong stance against hyperscale data centers and the loss of farmland for solar farms to support them. Prior to entering the PSC race, he was instrumental in the grassroots movement that successfully opposed the proposed toll on the new Bayway and Bridge on Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
Also speaking Saturday morning were Cathi Bradford (candidate for State Board of Education, District 6) and Corey Hill (candidate for Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries), as well as several local candidates.
