Health Freedom PAC Issues First Endorsements for 2026

The Health Freedom Alabama PAC has announced its first round of endorsements for the 2026 election cycle, highlighting candidates it says are committed to protecting medical choice and limiting government overreach.

In a statement released this week, the group said the endorsements mark a key step in its broader mission to support health freedom across the state.

“Because of your continued support, the Health Freedom Alabama PAC is able to do one of the most important parts of this mission: identify and evaluate candidates who are willing to stand up for health freedom,” the organization said.

The announcement followed a multi-week review process that included candidate surveys focused on health policy issues.

“Over the past several weeks, we distributed candidate surveys focused on key health freedom issues,” the group said. “Those responses have allowed us to carefully evaluate, vet, and make informed recommendations to you.”

The endorsements span multiple levels of government, from local races to federal contests. The group noted that some of the candidates are newcomers, while others have established records on the issues it prioritizes.

“Some of these candidates are new voices who have stepped forward with clear, strong positions on health freedom,” the group said in a statement. “Others have earned this endorsement through their survey responses, along with their past votes and the actions they have taken when it mattered most.”

The organization framed its criteria around a core set of policy positions, emphasizing individual rights and parental authority in healthcare decisions.

“These endorsements reflect candidates who understand that health freedom is rooted in the action to protect FREEDOM,” the PAC said.

The endorsed candidates, the group added, are aligned on several key principles, including efforts to “Restore medical freedom and personal choice,” “Put parents back in charge of their children’s healthcare,” “Reject mandates and government overreach,” and “Defend liberty at every level of government.”

The PAC intends to continue evaluating candidates, and more endorsements are expected in the coming weeks.
