Hooper Jr. Joins CCA Board of Directors
Veteran GOP leader and Trump ally Perry Hooper Jr. tapped for Christian Coalition of Alabama board
The Christian Coalition of Alabama (CCA) has named Perry Hooper Jr. to its Board of Directors, adding a seasoned Republican figure with deep ties to State politics and conservative advocacy.
CCA Chairman Dr. Randy Brinson praised the appointment, pointing to Hooper’s long record of service and alignment with the group’s mission.
“Perry Hooper Jr. has been a steadfast defender of the conservative values that the Christian Coalition of Alabama was built to protect,” Brinson said. “His deep roots in Alabama’s Republican Party, his commitment to the America First agenda, and his lifelong dedication to faith and family make him an invaluable addition to our board. We are honored to have him.”
Hooper brings decades of experience in Alabama politics. He served five terms in the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 73 from 1984 to 2003. During that time, he built a reputation as a consistent advocate for conservative policy.
He also carries a notable political legacy. His father, Perry Hooper Sr., made history as the first Republican elected to the Alabama Supreme Court since Reconstruction and later served as Chief Justice from 1995 to 2001.

In recent years, Hooper has remained active in Republican politics, including serving as Chairman of Trump Victory in Alabama. He is currently President of Hooper and Associates and a Partner at Strategic Resource Group. He holds a law degree from Faulkner University and is a graduate of Auburn University.
Hooper said he is eager to begin his work with the organization.
“I am deeply honored to join the Board of Directors of the Christian Coalition of Alabama,” Hooper said. “Dr. Brinson and the entire CCA team have built one of the most effective faith-based advocacy organizations in the country. I look forward to working alongside them to advance Biblical values in Alabama’s public policy and to strengthen the coalition of faith, family, and freedom that makes our State great.”
The Christian Coalition of Alabama focuses on advancing faith-based principles in public policy, with an emphasis on religious liberty, family issues, and civic engagement. The group has been active on issues such as healthcare policy, parental rights, and election integrity across the State.
