Three Democratic hopefuls address to SRO crowd in Homewood
The North Jefferson County Democrats hosted a Congressional Candidate Forum on Tuesday, July 21 at the Homewood Public Library. The Forum featured three of the four qualified Democratic candidates in the AL-06 congressional district.
Participating in the Forum were candidates:
- Jacob Bouma-Sims
- Ashtyn Kennedy
- Maurice Mercer
Keith Pilkington was unable to attend for personal reasons.
The Forum was moderated by Alabama Democratic nominee for Secretary of State Wayne Rogers. The Round Auditorium at the Homewood Library was filled to capacity with a standing room only audience.
At the close of the Forum, Democratic Senate nominee Everett Wess spoke briefly.
