Moore Debuts “Shoot You Straight” Campaign Ad
Alabama Congressman Barry Moore highlights gun rights, tax policy, and conservative priorities in new campaign ad for Senate bid
U.S. Representative Barry Moore (R-AL-01) has released a new campaign spot emphasizing his record and priorities, branding himself as a “straight shooter” in both policy and personality.
The ad, titled “Shoot You Straight,” centers on Moore’s approach to governance and his stance on key conservative issues. Speaking directly to voters, Moore contrasts himself with Washington insiders.
“Washington is full of politicians that tell you one thing and then do another. But not me — my targets are simple,” Moore says in the ad.
Moore, who has represented Alabama’s 1st Congressional District since 2021, highlights his longstanding support for gun rights. He has consistently received top marks from the National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund and, in 2023, introduced legislation proposing the AR-15 be designated as the national gun of the United States.
In a statement accompanying the ad release, Moore framed his platform as focused and consistent.
“Politicians in DC try to make things complicated, but most of the issues are simple,” said Moore. “Lower taxes. Save the unborn. Protect our liberties. Arrest criminals. Stop brainwashing kids. Those have been my priorities in the House and guess what, those will be my priorities in the Senate too.”
Moore is currently seeking the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Senator Tommy Tuberville, and has received the endorsement of President Donald Trump in the race. His campaign also states he is the only candidate in the race airing television advertisements at this stage.
The ad itself underscores Moore’s messaging in direct terms:
