Moore Reports $1M Quarter in Senate Race Push
Third straight strong quarter boosts Moore’s momentum as Trump-backed campaign gains ground in Alabama Senate race
U.S. Representative Barry Moore (R-AL-01) announced this week that his U.S. Senate campaign raised nearly $1 million in the first quarter of 2026, marking his strongest fundraising period to date and his third straight quarter of solid gains.
According to the campaign, Moore also outraised his Republican opponents in the final two quarters of 2025, building a steady financial edge as the primary race enters its closing stretch. The latest total includes funds raised through both his campaign committee and a joint finance committee.
The campaign points to growing support since Moore entered the race, along with a January endorsement from President Donald J. Trump that has helped elevate his profile Statewide.

“We’ve seen a surge of grassroots and donor support since we got into this race,” said Barry Moore. “President Trump’s endorsement in January helped take that momentum to the next level. From earning the support of more county grassroots leaders than any other campaign to outraising our opponents, this campaign is firing on all cylinders. I’m proud of the coalition we’ve built and deeply grateful for the overwhelming support we continue to receive.”
Moore’s campaign has maintained a visible presence on television, being the first in the race to launch broadcast advertising and remaining the only campaign currently on the air. Recent polling cited by the campaign shows Moore leading the crowded field.
Moore, a Coffee County native, entered the Senate race after serving in Congress since 2021. Before his time in Washington, Moore built a small business in the waste and demolition industry and served in the Alabama National Guard Reserve. In Congress, he has aligned with the conservative wing of the party, including membership in the House Freedom Caucus, and championed numerous conservative causes.
