P&CMA Endorses Barry Moore for Senate
Trade group backs Moore’s Senate bid, citing support for energy production, small business, and fewer federal regulations
The Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama (P&CMA) announced Tuesday that it is endorsing Barry Moore in Alabama’s race for the United States Senate.
The trade group represents petroleum marketers and convenience store operators across the State. The organization said Moore’s record in Congress and support for domestic energy production made him the right choice for the Senate seat.
“Barry Moore is the leader Alabama needs,” said Bart Fletcher, President of the Alabama Petroleum Association. “His unwavering support for American-produced energy, opposition to federal red tape, and track record on small businesses will make him a champion for Alabama's petroleum marketers and c-store operators in the U.S. Senate.”
While serving Alabama’s 1st district in Congress, Moore has supported policies aimed at expanding domestic energy production, reducing federal regulations, and protecting small businesses that operate in the fuel and convenience store industries.
Moore said he was honored to receive the endorsement from the statewide organization.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama,” said Moore. “These are hardworking business owners who keep Alabama moving, and they deserve a government that’s on their side, not standing in their way. In the Senate, I’ll keep fighting to cut red tape, unleash American energy, and lower costs for Alabama families and small businesses alike.”
The endorsement adds to a growing list of support for Moore’s Senate campaign from Republican leaders and industry groups across Alabama and Washington.

Moore, a native of Coffee County, Alabama, is a Christian, husband, father of four, and a small-business owner. Before serving in Congress, he was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2010. In Washington, he serves on key committees and is a member of the House Freedom Caucus.
