The City of Birmingham invites residents to help shape the implementation of City’s framework plans

Birmingham, AL — The City of Birmingham is inviting residents to get involved in shaping the future of their communities through the Framework Plan Implementation Committee, a community-driven effort designed to help guide priorities, track progress, and support improvements identified through Birmingham’s Framework Plans.

Residents are encouraged to attend one of two upcoming public information meetings to learn more about the committee, how it will work, and how they can participate.

Public Information Meetings

  • Thursday, October 8 | 5:30–7 p.m.
    West Police Precinct Meeting Room, 2236 47th St., Ensley
  • Wednesday, October 14 | 5:30–7 p.m.
    SocialVenture Meeting Room, 5529 1st Ave. S.

The meetings are open to every Birmingham resident. Residents are encouraged to bring their questions, ideas, and neighbors as the City works to ensure community voices help inform implementation of the Framework Plans.

The Framework Plan Implementation Committee will provide an opportunity for residents to learn about priorities, monitor progress, and help guide improvements in their communities.
